High Level Roof Cleaning
Premium roof cleaning using spider lift access & a gentle dry cleaning system, designed to remove moss safely without damaging tiles or forcing water under the roof
Safe, Specialist Access for Professional Roof Cleaning
Roof cleaning is not just about removing moss. How it is done matters just as much as the result.
Many roof cleaning jobs are carried out using ladders, towers, or high-pressure washing. These methods can damage tiles, force water into the roof structure, and create unnecessary mess.
Our approach uses specialist access equipment and a dry roof cleaning system to remove moss safely and effectively, without walking on the roof or using aggressive cleaning methods.
High Level Roof Cleaning Made Easy
Why Use Specialist Access for Roof Cleaning?
Using the correct access method allows the roof to be cleaned safely, thoroughly, and with far greater control.
Instead of relying on ladders or walking directly on tiles, spider lift access provides a stable working platform, allowing the roof to be cleaned from above without unnecessary risk or damage.
This approach is particularly important on fragile, older, or complex roofs.
Benefits include:
- No walking directly on roof tiles
- Reduced risk of cracked or damaged tiles
- Safer access for higher and more complex roofs
- Controlled, precise cleaning
- Minimal disruption to the property
How the Roof Cleaning Process Works
Dry Moss Removal
We use the Cobra Air System, a specialist dry roof cleaning system that gently removes moss without pressure washing.
Because the system is dry:
- There is less mess
- No risk of leaks or water ingress
- It is suitable for delicate and older roofs
Optional Moss Treatment
Once the moss has been removed, a safe and approved chemical treatment can be applied. This works over time to kill remaining moss spores and helps keep the roof clean for up to four years.
Flexible Cleaning Options
Roof cleaning can be tailored depending on the condition of the roof.
Options include:
- Full moss removal followed by chemical treatment
- Chemical treatment only for roofs with light moss coverage
- Follow-up gutter clearance after debris has naturally weathered off the roof
Where chemical treatment alone is used, gutters can be cleared at a later date, typically around six months after application.
Complete Clean-Up Included
All roof cleaning jobs include a full clean-up once work is completed.
This includes:
- Removing moss and debris from site
- Clearing any guttering affected by the roof clean
- Leaving the property tidy and safe
Built for Safe, Compact Access
Spider lifts are designed to access difficult areas while minimising ground impact. Their compact design allows access through narrow gaps and sensitive garden areas where other equipment may not be suitable.
This makes them ideal for residential properties, including homes with limited access to the rear or fragile ground surfaces.
Focus on the Job, Not the Risk
Roof cleaning carries risk when done poorly or with the wrong equipment.
By using specialist access equipment and avoiding high-pressure washing, the focus stays on doing the job properly, safely, and without compromising the roof’s integrity.
Every roof is assessed individually to determine the most suitable and safest method.

How long does the treatment last?
The chemical treatment works over time and can help keep the roof clean for up to four years.
