1. Service Description

Ashdown Spider Lift Hire provides operated spider lift access services for both commercial and domestic projects across the South East. All hires include a trained operator.

2. Booking & Payment

  • All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.

  • Payment terms will be agreed in advance—either prior to the hire date or on-site.

  • We reserve the right to request a deposit for certain bookings.

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give as much notice as possible.

3. Access & Site Conditions

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that access is suitable for the equipment, including sufficient space for set-up and operation.

  • If access is restricted or unsafe, we reserve the right to refuse to carry out the job and a call-out fee may still apply.

  • We may request photos or site details in advance to confirm suitability.

4. Operator & Safety

  • All our lifts are operated by IPAF-certified professionals.

  • We follow strict safety protocols and expect the working area to be free of obstructions and hazards.

  • The operator retains full control of the equipment at all times.

5. Insurance & Liability

  • We hold £5 million public liability insurance.

  • While every precaution is taken, we are not responsible for:

    • Damage resulting from inaccurate site information

    • Delays caused by unforeseen site or weather conditions

  • Clients should ensure that surrounding property and equipment is protected or moved prior to arrival.
